Just read this in The Wall Street Journal - Hospital Scrubs Are a Germy, Deadly Mess. The reason I mention it is because my mother in law has spent the past six weeks in and out of the Hospital. The first bit was easy enough - a simple (as if) kidney infection. However, Scraps the kidney infection got to have a few friends over to play. His best friend "C. Diff" decided to move in.
It is obvious to me that hospitals are the last place on earth you want to hang out. But what I did not think about was that the medical profession had taken a page out of the Chinese takeout business manual - they are delivering "C. Diff" and other stuff to us! Talk about genius marketing. How do you as a doctor guarantee business: Get the patient sick!
Somebody needs to patent this quick! I smell IPO.
